Not at all. While many of our members are business owners, we also welcome employees, entrepreneurs, nonprofit professionals, corporate representatives, students, and individuals who want to connect with and support our community.
Businesses of every size, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, and community organizations are all welcome. We believe a stronger business community is built through collaboration across sectors.
Not at all. Our members represent every industry imaginable. You don't have to market specifically to LGBTQ+ customers to be part of the community.

Approval is automatic once the application is submitted and membership fee is paid. The application itself takes about 10 minutes to complete.
Not at all. Whether you're still developing an idea, preparing to launch, or have been in business for decades, there's a place for you here. Building relationships early can be one of the best investments you make in your business.
Absolutely! We're very much a "the more, the merrier" kind of group. Many of our events are open to both members and guests. Attending an event is a great way to get to know The Gaymber, meet our community, and see if membership is right for you.
Some events are members-only or offer discounted pricing for members, so be sure to check the event details when you register.
The Gaymber doesn't have a dedicated office or storefront. Instead, we meet our community where they are by hosting events at member businesses, community spaces, and partner venues throughout Southern Arizona.
In other words, we're a little bit everywhere, because LGBTQ+ people and businesses are everywhere. Whether it's a networking breakfast, educational program, happy hour, or special event, you'll find us out in the community building connections where they happen.
Nope! Participate as much or as little as fits your schedule. Some members attend nearly every event, while others join us only a few times each year. Your membership supports the community whether you're able to attend often or not.
You're not alone. Many people come to their first Gaymber event without knowing anyone. You'll find a welcoming group of people who genuinely enjoy making introductions and helping new faces feel included. If you're attending for the first time, let us know. We'd be happy to help you get connected.
Probably. We believe relationships come before business cards. While making professional connections is certainly part of what we do, our events are designed to encourage authentic conversations, shared learning, and genuine community. You never have to "work the room" to belong here.
Definitely. The Gaymber exists to strengthen LGBTQ+ businesses and professionals, and we know that meaningful progress happens alongside supportive allies. We ask all members to share our commitment to inclusion, respect, and belonging.
The Gaymber advocates for policies that help LGBTQ+ businesses and professionals thrive. Our focus is on creating economic opportunity, fostering inclusive workplaces, and supporting a vibrant business community rather than endorsing political candidates or parties.
There are lots of ways to make the most of your membership. Attend events, volunteer, join a committee, become a sponsor, host a Gaymber event at your business, or simply introduce yourself to someone new at breakfast. The more you participate, the more connections you'll build.
