The Tucson LGBT Chamber of Commerce, affectionately known as “the Gaymber”, is a vibrant network of LGBTQIA+ and allied professionals dedicated to building an inclusive, thriving business community in Southern Arizona. We advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community through an economic lens, because we believe inclusive business is good business. As business owners, employers, employees, and consumers, LGBTQIA+ people are a vital part of our economy. We work every day to support, connect, and uplift our local queer and allied businesses.
Our mission is to empower, inspire and elevate the Southern Arizona LGBTQ+ and allied business community through education, networking, and effective advocacy.
Our vision is a vibrant and inclusive business community where LGBTQ+ and allied professionals achieve economic and social equity throughout Southern Arizona.
The Tucson LGBT Chamber of Commerce traces its roots back to the early 1990s, when it began as the Community Business Association—a private networking group created to provide mutual support for LGBTQ business professionals. As our community and impact grew, so did our mission. In 2005, we expanded our focus to include advocacy, education, and increased visibility for LGBTQ business issues, and we officially became the Tucson GLBT Chamber of Commerce. That same year, we proudly opened our membership to straight allies. Today, we are known as the Tucson LGBT Chamber of Commerce, continuing our commitment to inclusivity, visibility, and economic empowerment for all.
The Tucson LGBT Chamber of Commerce is a 501(c)(6) non-profit business organization.
Contributions or gifts to the Chamber are not tax-deductible as charitable donations.
